Since the international-oriented specialty in Bachelor degree at SOA was established in 2002 under the accounting discipline and in 2010 under the financial management discipline, the School is thus one of the earlier institutions to introduce the international education model. Based on its abundant experience in international education model, in 2014, the School of Accounting was approved by the Ministry of Education to start a joint accounting program in partnership with Baruch College of City University of New York, being one of the early domestic schools establishing the Sino-foreign cooperative education program. It was also SWUFE’s first and signature Sino-Foreign Educational Cooperation Program. The program, which was included as a choice for Chinese College Entrance Examination participants, enrolled its first group of students in September 2015. Until now, this program is being more and more attractive to the domestic high school students with a batch of 238 students enrolled in the program.
