· 1938: Established originally as the pioneer accounting school in China

· 1984: Received approval from MOE for the Master’s in Management Program

· 1988: Established a major in auditing

· 1992: Received notice that the subject of accounting would be the key discipline at the university

· 1994: Established first undergraduate major for CPA level

· 1996: Was authorized to confer doctorate in management

· 1997: Was established officially as the School of Accounting (SOA), making it one of the oldest accounting schools in China

· 1999: Received approval from the People’s Bank of China for the subject of accounting to become a key discipline

· 2001: Approved by Sichuan Province to set up the Talent Training Base for Accounting Degree and the Development Base for Financial Management for Undergraduate Education in Sichuan Province

· 2004: Launched Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) Program

· 2006: Was awarded Sichuan Education Brand in the subject of accounting

· 2007: Approved to become National Key Discipline

· 2010: Launched Master of Valuation (MV) Program

· 2011: Received approval of financial management major as a key element of provincial project of comprehensive quality reform

· 2012: Started the 2+2 Joint Bachelor’s Program (accounting) with the City University of New York (CUNY)

· 2012: Was the only winner in China of the National Excellent Doctoral  Dissertations in the Discipline of Management

· 2013: Launched Master of Auditing (MAud) Program

· 2014: Became member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International

· 2014: Launched the 2+2 Joint Undergraduate Program (accounting) with the City University of New York (CUNY), which was approved by the Ministry of Education as a Sino-foreign educational cooperation program

· 2015: Established China’s Listed Companies' Financial Index (LCFI) Center and released 2015 LCFI report

· 2018: Earned AACSB International Accreditation (Business Accreditation)

· 2019: Earned AACSB International Accreditation (Accounting Accreditation)
